| 1 | To promote Games & Sports among students & youth and to make them physically fit and mentally alert. In this process, Department of Youth Services & Sports, district reasi organizes intra moral at school level by the concerned PET of that school. Then Inter School District Level Competitions, Inter School Zone Level Competitions & Inter Zone District Level Competitions are organized by the department. The best students players selected on performance basis are further deputed for competitions at state and notation level. | Intra Moral Competitions are organized by the Physical Education Teacher/Masters in the concerned institutions for selection of teams. The Teams are then deputed for zone level and district level competitions. The student’s players are selected on performance basis as per the training provided to student’s players by the PETs/PEMs as per availability of school playgrounds. The department also organizes refresher courses to import latest rules and regulations among the PETs, Trekking Camps & snow skiing camps are also organized by the department. |
The assignments by the Directorate Office are also given to District Youth Services & Sports Officers to conduct Refresher Courses, Trekking Camps, & state level competitions in particular events.
